Access to aircraft only with Super Green Pass
From Monday 10 January 2022, following the Law Decree 229 , to access the aircraft (domestic flights) it is necessary to be in possession of the " Reinforced Green Pass " or Super Green Pass, issued following vaccination or recovery from Covid-19 .

What does Enhanced Green Pass mean
Enhanced Green Pass means possession of the COVID-19 green certification for vaccination or recovery. The simple green pass, (the one that was requested before January 10), did not have the constraint of vaccination but it was enough to present the negative result of a rapid or molecular swab.
Currently this "pass" method is no longer valid. To access the aircraft and therefore to travel by plane, the exclusive possession of the Super Green Pass is required (which can only be obtained following vaccination or recovery).
The only exceptions are for minors under the age of 12 and for subjects exempt from the vaccination campaign on the basis of appropriate medical certification.
The rules for air travel
Traveling by plane must absolutely not be a source of danger for passengers. As early as December 24, it is mandatory to wear the FFP2 mask , which offers much greater protection and reduces the likelihood of contagion.
Possession of super green pass and the obligation of FFP2 mask for travelers and employees, serve to ensure a flight in total safety.
As regards access to the airport by carers, in this case the entrance to the airport area is free.
Obviously with regard to international flights, it is advisable to inquire about all the rules in force in the country of destination. The Super Green Pass obligation does not apply to international air transport services but for now, only to domestic flights within our country.

The control relating to possession of the super green pass will be up to the airlines before boarding. During the control phase, when standing in line, it is always recommended to respect safety rules such as social distancing and the use of personal protective equipment.
